Malcolm McIntosh
DJ Malcolm McIntosh is a highly-regarded member of the Australian dance scene. Having played at a host of A-class venues, such as Quest, Fringe Bar, Family, Monastery and Full Moon parties in North Queensland, McIntosh has a following that is simply the envy of many.
Blending a colourful fusion of tribal, electro and progressive genres, DJ Malcolm always keeps clubbers dancing until the early hours of the weekend mornings.
Such is his command behind the decks; the likes of Sneaky Sound System, Darude, Kosheen, Andy Ward, Gene Farris and Casey Taylor have called upon his services in a supporting role.
Not one to offer his services strictly to internationally renowned artists, DJ Malcolm has played alongside the best talent that Australia has to offer today, namely Nick Galea, Matt Nugent , Baby Gee, Matt Kitshon and Habebe.
A previous state finalist in the Heineken Found Thirst DJ competition, McIntosh can today be seen on a rotational basis at the premier Brisbane super club, The Met.
But whilst deejaying is his undying passion, McIntosh also has an extensive background in commercial radio. Here, under the moniker of his alter ego ‘SuperMal', he has worked for Triple M, Sea FM and Gold Fm, as well as channel Seven's Sunrise , Nine's Today Show and Ten's News First at Five.
Whether he's on the radio microphone or purveying the tunes being played to a sold-out venue, McIntosh is destined to continue his wonderful service to our prospering and appreciated dance industry for years to come.
